Convention Events are rehearsed, or in the case of Art, completed, prior to convention and performed and evaluated at Convention.
Before Convention, the Participant should:
- Follow the rules of the event.
- For Art, complete the artwork and bring or send to Convention.
- For other events, prepare and rehearse the event prior to Convention.
At Convention, the Participant should:
- Check with your Church Coordinator for event room and time information.
- Demonstrate the event as part of a team or individually as appropriate.
Before Convention, the Church Coordinator should:
- Register the participants on the ERLTC web site.
- Help the participants follow the rules of the event.
- Obtain coaches for the participants as necessary to help them prepare for the event.
- Obtain volunteers willing to be evaluators for convention as required by the rules.
At Convention, the Church Coordinator should:
- For Art, ensure the artwork is submitted to the Art desk at the appropriate time during Convention and picked up following Convention.
- For other events, sign-up the teams or individuals at the event desk at the appropriate time and ensure the participants have received information such as room location and starting time.
